“On the roof of the Colectivo Mapocho building in Santiago Chile, an audience of 50 people, mostly artists and musicians. Percussionist and artist are facing each other, he with his drums spread out, she with a table on which was placed a large piece of paper. Tracking the movement of his hands as he performed, the drawing emerged on the paper. Each set had different movement, therefore different drawings. Someone had given the artist a handful of pencils which got mixed into her pile of pencils. When the drawing was being done, all the graphite was graphite grey. When she fixed the drawing to prevent smearing, the gift pencils turned purple. Big surprise.” – Morgan O’Hara
